EDIT AGAIN: I would like to add that I am open for art trades or collabs. SO OPEN. Sign me right up. I need work to dooooooo.EDIT GUYS GUYS I JUST GOT ACCEPTED AT CCAD YAAAAAYYYWelp, first real year of college is over. The school part sucked for a lot of reasons, but everything else was pretty okay so I'd say the year was a success. I learned an awful lot, but more of it was outside of class than inside, which is more of a surprise than I was expecting. I've also gotten a lot more focused and organized with my life.
I am hoping to transfer to the Columbus College of Art and Design next fall. Then maybe school will not suck and everything will really be pretty okay. I'll keep you guys posted on that. So in preparation, this summer I will be spending at least three hours every single day on artwork. I'm gonna make projects for myself; haven't got many ideas yet but I'm sure something will evolve if I hold myself to this goal.
My life is going to be like this....
[link]So. Anybody want college advice? Here's some things I learned:
-If you take thirty books to college, you will take seventy back.
-You will eat a lot less peanut butter when you have to wash all your own dishes.
-Make lists and schedules for yourself so you always know what you need to be doing.
-College isn't really that scary. People are usually pretty friendly if you're reasonably polite.
-Stay away from 5-Hour Energies...

You deserve some level of respect from your teachers. Remember, you are paying them. If you have a problem with somebody, you have every right to approach them and talk it out like adults, because you are presumably both adults. Learn From My Fail.-Unfortunately, some teachers are just bad guys.
-When shit happens, you just have to keep working. You're working the always shift.
-A lot of grad students who are teachers grade really ridiculously harshly. This is apparently to compensate for the fact that they are grad students and not professors? Or something?
-Your counselor/advising officer is a wizard. They can do anything. If you need to change something with your schedule, they can do it in like. a second. Seriously it's so easy.
