I make think about making cities, buildings, and maps for them.

EDIT AGAIN: I would like to add that I am open for art trades or collabs. SO OPEN. Sign me right up. I need work to dooooooo.

Welp, first real year of college is over. The school part sucked for a lot of reasons, but everything else was pretty okay so I'd say the year was a success. I learned an awful lot, but more of it was outside of class than inside, which is more of a surprise than I was expecting. I've also gotten a lot more focused and organized with my life.

I am hoping to transfer to the Columbus College of Art and Design next fall. Then maybe school will not suck and everything will really be pretty okay. I'll keep you guys posted on that. So in preparation, this summer I will be spending at least three hours every single day on artwork. I'm gonna make projects for myself; haven't got many ideas yet but I'm sure something will evolve if I hold myself to this goal.

My life is going to be like this....…

So. Anybody want college advice? Here's some things I learned:

-If you take thirty books to college, you will take seventy back.
-You will eat a lot less peanut butter when you have to wash all your own dishes.
-Make lists and schedules for yourself so you always know what you need to be doing.
-College isn't really that scary. People are usually pretty friendly if you're reasonably polite.
-Stay away from 5-Hour Energies...
-You deserve some level of respect from your teachers. Remember, you are paying them. If you have a problem with somebody, you have every right to approach them and talk it out like adults, because you are presumably both adults. Learn From My Fail.
-Unfortunately, some teachers are just bad guys.
-When shit happens, you just have to keep working. You're working the always shift.
-A lot of grad students who are teachers grade really ridiculously harshly. This is apparently to compensate for the fact that they are grad students and not professors? Or something?
-Your counselor/advising officer is a wizard. They can do anything. If you need to change something with your schedule, they can do it in like. a second. Seriously it's so easy.

Hi there. What's up?
bymorgoth Oct 2, 2011  Student General Artist
Well, I just got back from two hours of karate and I'm really appreciating all this instant ramen Katy bought. School is great, I've made a lot of friends, and most of my classes are really fun. My friends and I seem to have created a small Tumblr meme, and my entire life has turned into a Yu-Gi-Oh fan convention. Also I missed your radio show last week. :C

How are you?

That's terrific :D I'd love to see the meme, but I still refuse to get a Tumblr.

Karate sounds cool too. I'm sad because there seems to be no vegetarian ramen on the Kent campus. Although, other than that, vegetarianism is going pretty well.

It's probably good you didn't hear the show last week because, um, there wasn't actually a show last week. Everyone got new key cards, mine is defective, and I got locked out of the studio in the rain. I eventually got in the building, but the key didn't work on the booth door either (derp). So I gave up and went to Starbucks.

I should get the key fixed tomorrow. I have this weird fear that when I go there, the key will magically work again and my producer will assume I actually just forgot my key and lied about it, because all of technology is out to get me.

Other than technical difficulties, though, the show's actual going pretty well. I will HOPEFULLY have a guest on Saturday, Eric Hartung's band; they're releasing their first album soon.

But... wait, you do have a Tumblr. I'm following you! [link]

And this is the blog my friends and I made. I'm still confused that so many people are following it. [link]
